Oh boy, oh boy.

I'm on my last stretches for this semester. I'm really glad it's over. The only thing I'm sad about is that the buddies I made in my classes are all graduating this semester. Spring semester is going to be my last one, if things all go well. I'm excited about finishing college at last, don't get me wrong, but I can't help but get that feeling of doom at the same time. I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do with myself without school to keep me busy. I'll be working, of course-- but then what?

I guess that's a question I have to think about in the middle of the night, staring at the ceiling while lying on my bed.

Yesterday, in printmaking class, I let my friend cut my hair. Nothing crazy, I just really, really wanted to get the back trimmed. Now my hair looks semi-decent again. One of these days I'll figure out what I really want to do with it.

Otherwise, I'm working on breathing some life on Defective Geeks' homepage. Winter break will hopefully be very productive for me.

Things to do:

- Printmaking project. I hope I calculated my studio work days and enough free time for this one. HOOO BOY. Hands on traditional art can be so much fun, but it's also very unpredictable. If only I had a real life DELETE button that works on everything.

- finalize Design projects. Meh. I really can't talk much about this class without getting incredibly bitter so I'll stop there.

- Sketches for an audition for a character design job. I get paid for the sketches I turn in even if they don't take the sketches... I think. I better double check on that! It'll be cool if they pick my design though. This is due December 1, so I better get cracking.

- Character design for Mike's final video game project. This shouldn't be too hard. I might try and just get this done this weekend.

- Catch up on readings for classes. Especially for art history class... sometime before the final anyways.

- Public art class homework. Group project and response to last walking tour. Ugh. I hate this class a whole lot too.

- update comic o_o; I'm stuck on the page I'm working on though.... T_T Argh.

All right. Now back to work-- as in, my actual, regularly paid work. I'm starting to think I'm retarded for working so many hours a week while I'm still a full time student. Most kids work less than 10 hours a week... I'm chugging out at least 20 hours per week. Yeah. I'm retarded. X_X Maybe I should take it easy next semester. Maybe. e_e I do like getting paid. D:

I think there's something kooky going on with my publishing thing on blogger, so this is a test entry...

My boss bought me falafel for lunch. Mmmmm... falafel... then another co-worker bought me soda. I'm SERIOUSLY on a diet... except when people give me free food. Plus, even though I can't eat all that much anymore, I make myself anyways. So now I just feel ill. GOOD FOR ME!

Edit--
Oh, never mind, it totally published. I guess the browsers at school were just weird or something. Anyways. Do I have anything else to talk about? Oh well. I'm sure I'll think of something later. For now, potty break, then maybe I shall go back to work. . .

I really should resist... and I did promise myself I wouldn't go out this month and I'm going to save up my money. Then, all these awesome sounding events start popping up and I don't want to miss them..! Dammit.

Why does it have to be that way?
This next couple of weekends, it seems there'll be a couple of fashion events that might be worth checking out. I need to investigate them further later though. Then at the end of the month, my new favorite local band, thee out mods is having another performance. I want to goooo. I hope I can get other people to go too.

At least school is also ending this month, and next month should bring in some more fun-- and some free time.
