It's Halloween time! I like this holiday a lot, but I never get to properly celebrate it. I wished I had a costume to wear and a place to go to with it. Unfortunately, the time before Halloween is always full of school and other such things, that there is no room for making a costume. I refuse to buy crappy expensive costumes in those plastic bags. XD

At work, we have Flo as a sexy Strawberry Shortcake, Brian as a Pirate, Carl as sexy Batgirl, and Ben-Joseph as Nightcrawler. I found it funny that Ben-Joseph was trying to freak me out with his contacts-- although they were cool... if I can sit in a comic book or anime convention where middle-aged men run around as Japanese school girls, or girls misjudge their bodies and think wearing thongs in public is perfectly okay... the only thing that makes me excited now-a-days at conventions are the sight of an actual GOOD costumer. That is a rare site to see. :P

Not that I declare myself a perfect and awesome cosplayer-- hardly! I at least take the time to make something that would look decent and that I would look okay in.

Anyways, before I get into a random cosplay tangent e_e

I hope I don't overdo the candy binge today. So far, there hasn't been much free candy lying around at work, so I think I'll be okay.

I couldn't stop eating the twix bars at home though. Baaaaaaaaad. X_X

I'm excited about a couple of side projects I've decided to take on. They don't pay, but I think they'll be quite beneficial for me! First off, got a friend who's starting a music company, and he recruited me to do some graphics and help create their visual identity. This will be the first time I do this outside of a class setting and for something that is expected to be competing in the music industry. I'm not sure if I can actually do it, but I know I have a couple of friends who I can pass of the job to at least. Or at least, recruit some help.

Second off, I'm helping a friend design her portfolio website... and she is also Olivia Lufkin's personal stylist! That's exciting, since now Olivia is part of my favorite series now, I feel more distantly connected to my NANA XD I'm a dork, I know.

I'm also taking on a paid commission job, as requested from someone at my mom's work. I swear, I should just make my mother my manager... she finds me my jobs x_X How lame am I, amirite?? But at least I'm making in the cash, yo.

Anyways, I hope I can handle this all, on top of school and my day-job.

I have to keep spending under control for the next couple of months or so. X_X I've been shopping and spending way too much. I still have a wish list though, about a mile long. It includes:

- light blue, skinny jeans
- skinny black pants
- leopard print jacket coming out in Target GO International line-up
- Samurai Champloo volume 7
- Fullmetal Alchemist DVDs
- Star Wars movie DVDs
- Advent Children DVD
- pink Playstation 2, slimline
- Nintendo DS games
- a whole bunch of DVDs
- fabric for cosplay

I think the clothes can wait till Christmas-- I can ask my mom for them as Christmas gifts. XD Fabric for cosplay can wait till winter vacation too, since I won't have time to work on costumes till break. The DVDs are an ongoing struggle in my life, I swear. I keep buying them, but a lot of times I don't ever watch most of them. I keep telling myself I shouldn't buy any more since I never have time to watch... but I do anyways. I have all three different sets of the Lord of the Rings DVDs. Well... that's just obsessive though. Haha!
